Hrithik Roshan was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India on January 10, 1974. His father, film director Rakesh Roshan, is the son of music director Roshan, while his mother, Pinky, is the daughter of producer and director J. Om Prakash. Hrithik has an elder sister, Sunaina. His uncle Rajesh Roshan is a famous music director. As a child, Roshan attended the Bombay Scottish School. He later attended Sydenham College, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Commerce. After having appeared in films as a child actor in the 1980s, Roshan made his film debut in a leading role in the Famous Indian Movie Kahoo na Pyar Hai (2000). This movie had carried him to win FILMFARE AWARD, BEST ACTOR and BEST MALE DEBUT.
In 2001, he went on to appear in the melodrama Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham which became India's highest-grossing film in the overseas market and his biggest commercial success to date. Afterwards, he played in some unnoticed Indian Movie such as KOI MIL GAYA, Mujshe Dosti Karoge, Kriish, Doom, Doom 2 and many more.
In 2000, he married with Suzanne Khan and already gave him two children namely Hrehaan Roshan, Hridhaan Roshan.
