Biography: Born
to a mother of British origin and a father of Kashmiri Indian origin,
one of 8 siblings, Katrina Kaif was born in Hong Kong. She lived most of
her life in Hawaii after which she moved to London during her early
teens. She started off her modeling career at 14, with a jewellery
campaign and soon became the face of Lakme. And not too long after that
Kaizad Gustad offered her Boom in 2003.
Katrina Kaif has transformed herself from a non hindi speaking model
to one of the busiest actoresses today. She's certainly worked hard,
from dubbing for Namaste London herself, to learning Kathak and
practicing the dance everyday for 7 hours nonstop - the actress has been
working very hard at her Bollywood career! In her relatively short
career in the film industry, Katrina is already working with some of the
biggest banners and filmmakers in the industry.
Although
controversy has occasionally dogged her, with Salman Khan's trial cases
and her having worn a skirt at a place of worship which created a lot of
furore.
