KIMCHI FAMILY SYNOPSIS

Set within the famous Korean restaurant Chunjiin, known especially for their kimchi dish. This drama is about two daughters who get ownership of their father’s restaurant, and a rough and tumble gangster who grew up as an orphan, begins to work at the restaurant and sets about looking for a piece of his past.

Kimchi Family is one of the popular drama in Korea. Kimchi Family also well known with Fermentation family. Kimchi Family is a deliciously simmering blend of food and romance. Song Il Gook and recently popular star Park Jin Hee (The Woman Who Still Wants to Marry) lead this family tale of two bickering restauranteurs who fall in love against the backdrop of a beautiful and traditional Korean restaurant.

Ki Ho Tae (Song Il Gook) is a high-maintenance restaurant owner who strives to make his restaurant perfect in every way. Lee Kang Sun (Park Jin Hee) is his part-time employee, an upbeat but hot-tempered character who constantly clashes with him. A ragtag group of quirky people frequent the restaurant, drawn to its good food and atmosphere, and Ho Tae and Kang Sun, in their quest to make the restaurant a happy place that feels like family for customers, may find happiness and family in each other.
